Star Schools (City Of Cape Town)

Okay so "Star Schools." Right. The name alone. They called themselves Star Schools, not even "The Stars Academy" or something with a bit of effort, just... Star Schools. Like they named it during load shedding when the wifi was down and they had to submit the paperwork before Stage 6 hit. This school is sitting in the City Bowl, which means the learners are either walking past guys selling phone chargers on Adderley Street or dodging taxis outside Cape Town station just to get to class. Very cosmopolitan. Very "we build global citizens." The mountain is right there watching, and even the mountain looks a little uncertain about the name. Co-ed, private, high school in the City Bowl. That is actually not a bad setup on paper. The location is genuinely cool, the city energy is real, and being independent means they can do things differently to your average government school with one functioning toilet and a WCED memo from 2019. So there is potential here, real potential. Overall verdict: Star Schools has the location, the independence, and the vibe to be something special, but they need to fire whoever named the place before the school can truly shine.
