But here is the thing that will make your chest swell a little. Two thousand two hundred and ninety-one learners, zero fees, and a 97.4% matric pass rate. Bra. NINETY SEVEN POINT FOUR. Private schools in Sandton are charging parents a second bond on their house and getting worse results. Meanwhile Jiyana is out here in Kempton Park, teachers outnumbered like it is a Black Friday sale at Makro, and still producing results that would make the Department of Education cry happy tears into their quarterly report. Yes the ratio is chaos, yes the teachers probably dream about smaller numbers, and yes Kempton Park is basically just the holding area between the airport and Joburg. But you cannot argue with that pass rate. You genuinely cannot. Overall verdict: Looks like a disaster on paper, runs like a machine in practice, somehow the most impressive school in this roast so far.
