That is a 33.3 to 1 ratio, which means your teacher is basically a taxi driver, just cramming everyone in and hoping for the best. Your teacher did not know half your names, they just pointed and said "you, the one by the window" for the entire year. By Grade 12 you were basically self-taught with a stranger watching from the front of the room. But here is where we have to give credit where it is due, because 95.9% matric pass rate with those kinds of numbers and those kinds of resources is genuinely impressive. That is not a school, that is a miracle. The teachers were outnumbered like it was a rugby test match and they still almost ran the table. Respect where respect is due. Overall verdict: Chaotic, overcrowded, and parked deep in the North West like a forgotten braai grid, but producing results that would embarrass half the fancy fee-paying schools in Cape Town.
