Thirty. Seven. That ratio is 37 to 1, which means one teacher is basically running a small township on their own. Sir is not teaching a class, he is managing a small music festival. If you raised your hand with a question, just know three other kids also had the same question and Sir already forgot your name. He knows you as "you, by the window." But here is the thing that makes this whole roast complicated. 94.2% matric pass rate. With 37 teachers and 1372 kids and Mpumalanga load shedding probably cutting the lights mid-exam. Those educators are not teachers, they are superheroes in school shoes. That pass rate would make a private school in Constantia with its heated swimming pool and R50k fees look sideways and uncomfortable.
