Combined school, which means they crammed primary AND high school kids into one place, because why have two schools when you can have one big beautiful chaotic mess. 399 learners running around together, from the tiny Grade 1s who still cry at break time to the big Grade 12s who look like they pay rates and taxes. Someone's child is sharing a corridor with someone who has a beard. Jy weet hoe is dit. Now let us talk about these educators. 15 teachers for 399 kids. That is a 26.6 to 1 ratio, which means every teacher wakes up every morning, looks in the mirror, and whispers "today I will try." That is not a classroom, that is a taxi rank with a chalkboard. One teacher is probably taking register, doing Life Orientation, coaching soccer, and also fixing the gate. All before 8am. The man deserves a monument.
