Those kids are passing matric with basically no tuck shop budget, no fancy science lab named after some donor, and a teacher ratio that would make a private school cry into their R50 000 annual fees. The hustle is real at Jabulile. The name literally means "they are happy" in Zulu and honestly, surviving that learner to educator ratio with an 85% pass rate, jy weet hoe is dit, there is something to be happy about. The building might not have astroturf and the matric rage fund might just be a shared taxi to the nearest Chicken Licken, but these kids are doing the work.
