You are in the Eastern Cape, which means load shedding hits harder, the wind is different, and the Department of Education treats you like a suggestion rather than a priority. Victory Park sounds triumphant until you realise the only victory happening there is surviving the school day with 38 teachers trying to manage 1195 learners. That is not a school, that is a stadium with a timetable. Thirty one learners per teacher. Thirty one. Your teacher is not teaching a class, they are addressing a small political rally.
